Bio
As President of McCarthy Improvement Company, Coty Fournier leads the company’s strategic direction, operational performance and long-term growth. She works closely with the leadership team to identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, deliver high value in the marketplace, continuously strengthen operations, and development talent across the organization.
Coty brings 35 years of construction management experience spanning executive leadership, operations, business development and strategic planning. Her background includes senior level consulting and executive roles with Well Built Consulting, Miller Construction Company and The Blue Book of Building & Construction Network (owned and operated by Dodge), as well as the founding and acquisition of a construction technology company and boutique program management consulting firm. She began her career with Turner Construction Company, gaining firsthand experience in a wide variety of superintendence, field operations, cost and scheduling controls and estimating roles.
Beyond her executive experience, Coty is passionate and accomplished industry speaker and educator. She is the best-selling author of Inside Commercial Construction’s MVPs – widely acclaimed as one of the industry’s top professional development guides. She has delivered presentations and leadership development programs for many prominent construction industry organizations and universities across the country.
